I came to Kent State University in the Fall of 2006 as a Psychology major and also as an Honors College student. I rushed the Zeta Gamma chapter of Sigma Nu in the Spring of 2007 as apart of the Beta Upsilon candidate class. I intend on graduating in the Fall of 2010 with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I was my candidate class social chair and am currently the active chapter's Philanthropy Chair and Founder's Arch Chair. I am very involved on campus and have a social life i couldn't have anticipated as a freshman. I attribute both my campus success and my social networking success to being involved with Sigma Nu. Everyday I rely on my brothers to teach me something new or offer their help in any way they can. Being the fourth highest ranking position in the chapter has helped me become a confident business oriented student, making me feel more at ease with my professional future.
Needless to say, as time goes by I realize on a daily basis how proud I am to call myself a brother to my friends and a brother of Sigma Nu. Each day I become a little closer to becoming who I've always dreamt of being, a man of honor. |
