I was born April 28th, 1984 in Bedford, Ohio to Renee Henn and Malcolm Vern Baker. I have an older brother named Chris who is ZG 642, an older sister named Tracy Lynn and a younger brother named after my father, Malcolm. I grew up in Seven Hills and attended Normandy High School until 2002. I spent my first 3 semesters at Cuyahoga Community College then transfered to Kent State University.
I went to Kent State because, just like a lot of kids I wanted to be like my big brother and do all the stuff he did. He attended Kent State and was the Commander of Sigma Nu. When I first arrived on campus I was extremely skeptical of "frats" and didn't think I would take any part in them because I was not a "frat" guy. During homecoming of 2006 I got to meet the brothers of Sigma Nu and instantly felt embraced by the fraternity.
Sigma Nu has led to great opportunities for me to build social skills, leadership skills, and has helped me advance myself academically. Currently I am the Alumni Relations Chair and Treasurer of the Inter Fraternity Council, which is the governing board for all fraternity's at Kent State University. I plan to further my involvement on campus and within the fraternity before I graduate in the spring of 2009 |
