Sigma Nu at Kent State University is not a “frat;" it's members are not "frat boys."  Sigma Nu is a fraternity for men.  Sigma Nu doesn’t come with a label or stereotype.  The key to any fraternity’s success is to have a diverse group of individuals.  Our fraternity is not about a look.  It’s about finding the best of the best to create an incredible experience for all that are involved. Members will work to become ethical leaders on campus and in the community, making impactful and lasting changes. We welcome anyone that is willing to put the time and effort in to make himself a better man, a more diligent student, and a greater leader for the world's communities.

    To foster the personal growth of each man's mind, heart and character. So what about the “you're buying your friends” argument? You have probably heard that by joining a fraternity you are buying your friends. But how does that differ from going to college, paying your tuition and housing, and becoming friends with the men on your dorm floor? A dorm floor assignment is random chance, however. Wouldn’t you rather make a pro-active choice to surround yourself with like-minded men who are driving towards similar goals? Success breads success, and ultimately this is what the Sigma Nu at Kent State University will be doing. We will help you grow, mature, and ultimately have a more complete college experience by pooling KSU’s top men into KSU's top fraternity. Each individual will be encouraged and challenged to grow personally, developing extraordinary skills and honing individual talents. Our aim is to create outstanding men, not outstanding fraternity brothers.
